Mehta Golf Club
Situated West of the capital Kampala, not far from the banks of Lake Victoria, the Mehta Golf Club is a spectacular, scenic golf course within the wonderfully landscaped headquarters of the Sugar Corporation of Uganda, Lugazi.
Having developed from a family-developed short course, venue of The Mehta Open, the owners of this popular course are in the process of upgrading to a 6,400 yard 18-hole layout, with a 6-hole extension constructed to international-specification due to open in 2020.
The course is frequented by all; from the inveterate travelling golfing Scotsman, to the local natural raw talent, the great and the good of the country, the best Pro’s of the region, the tourist beginners, improvers and club-members
