The move to a synthetic surface from grass is a logical one for many clubs and organisations. The small-sided pitch at the Byker Community Trust estate received a very high level of us, which, as a clay-based pitch, made it impossible to go through the winter season without severe problems.

HD Lt designed a multi-use synthetic pitch with floodlighting and fencing to replace the grass pitch, providing computer-generated images of the ‘before and after’ pitches with views of the surface when floodlit, for planning purposes.
